HARBOR BROOK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
Chairman Sweetland called the hearing to order at 2:30 p.m.
The Clerk stated that a notice of public hearing has been provided and is on file.
The Clerk called the roll and the following legislators were present: Mrs. Baker, Mr. Kraft, Mr. Meyer, Mr. Farrell, Mrs. Rapp, Mr. Rhinehart, Mr. DiBlasi, Mr. Corbett, Mr. Stanczyk, Mr. Holmquist, Mr. Warner, Mr. Whelan, Mr. Kinne, Mr. Laguzza, Mr. Ryan, Mrs. Chaplin, Mrs. Winslow, Chairman Sweetland

Mr. John Clare, Project Manager – Harbor Brook Improvement Project, read a statement

Chairman Sweetland asked for speakers.
Mr. Joseph Barry, Corporation Counsel, City of Syracuse, here on behalf of the City and the City School District – opposed to project – letter and packet attached (attachment no. 3)
Mr. Timothy O’Connell – questioned if there will be a structure on it or underground. Mr. Clare said a portion will be underground — behind laundry mat will be undergrjound. Mr. Clare stated that they the design is not completed yet. A portion will be above ground also. Mr. O’Connnell asked who decides who will pay. Ms. Tarolli, Deputy County Attorney, stated that this is a public hearing as opposed to a question and answer session. She suggested that Mr. O’Connell connect with the department or legislators for an opportunity to get answers to questions.
There being no further speakers, the hearing was closed at 2:45 p.m.
